We would, however, not recommend this method of viewing for high resolution cameras. By utilising a modulator a camera image can be tuned to a TV channel frequency, which can be imposed onto the TV and cable enabling the CCTV camera to be viewed from any TV in the house (assuming connection to the aerial circuit). <a href="#faq"> Back to top</a> </p> <p align="justify" class="style12"> <strong>Will my camera perform in low light conditions?<a name="willmycamera"></a></strong></p> <p align="justify" class="style12"> Assuming that you do not have the benefit of external lighting such as halogen lights, then it will be necessary to select a camera capable of working at lower lux level (below 0.1 lux).</p> <p align="justify" class="style12"> With many cameras offering day/night mode facilities they will automatically switch from colour to monochrome as the light level decreases, thus ensuring the best possible night time surveillance. Infra red lighting will; maximise the video images at night for which many cameras are now available with built in infra red led lighting. We would recommend using basic wire free equipment for distances up to 30 metres as there are so many abnormalities that can affect the signal.</p> <p align="justify" class="style12"> For shorter distances of less than 20 metres we would expect you to be able to receive good quality pictures without too much problem.
